

A lot of us don’t realize that a lot of what we believe we’ve been told to believe. Our minds were designed to mold like plato whether we realize it or not.

When I was young, my parents and grandparents instilled into me a sense of paranoia. What they thought would grow into intuition and freedom actually began to sprout like a weed of anxiety.
I was taught to judge people by their outer appearance and they seemed to me like rotten fruit then I should stray away from their influence. This sounds so close to good advice that as a kid I held it like a shield over my heart.
I was so sure that if I listened to my elders then I would come to reflect their own wisdom.
